For electrical contractors

You're in a panel. The caller is still waiting.

Electrical work doesn't let you stop mid-task to grab the phone. Retain Bridge texts every missed caller back in seconds, so service calls, panel upgrades and EV-charger installs don't go to the next electrician on the list.

How it works for electrical contractors

  1. A call goes unanswered. Your business number rings as usual; if nobody picks up, the call forwards to us.
  2. The caller gets a text in seconds, automatically, from a separate local texting number.
  3. You get an alert with the job details and any voicemail transcript.
  4. You reply and set the time. We deliver your message. We never book on our own.

Example first text: "Hi, this is Bright Line Electric. Sorry we missed you, we're on a job. What can we help with? Reply with the job and address and we'll get back to you."

Calls you can't take safely

When you're working in a live panel, up in an attic or on a lift, answering isn't an option. The caller gets a text right away asking what they need, and you get the details to call back.

Small jobs and big bids

Outlet and lighting calls come fast and go to whoever responds first. Service upgrades, generator hookups and remodel wiring are bigger estimates that take follow-up. Text-back handles the first; Follow-Up Pro handles the second.

Estimates that need a nudge

Bigger electrical quotes often wait on a homeowner's budget or a GC's schedule. Polite check-ins go out on day 3, 7 and 14 and stop the moment they reply.

Reviews homeowners trust

Homeowners look for electricians they can trust in their house. After the job, one thank-you text with your Google review link makes it easy to say so.

Which plan fits

Text-Back ($129/mo, no setup fee) if you mainly need every missed caller to hear back. Follow-Up Pro ($297/mo) if you send estimates every week and want follow-ups and review texts. Done-For-You ($597/mo, waitlist) adds Google Business Profile care; inquiry answering and estimate scheduling are coming soon. See all plans.

Good to know

You keep your business number. Missed calls forward to us, and texts come from a separate local texting number we provide. Setup in a day; texting goes live after carrier approval, usually about 14 days; missed-call alerts start right away.

Texting follows carrier rules: registered business texting, only people who contacted you, STOP honored right away, and messages sent between 9 AM and 8 PM. See our SMS Terms.
